Privacy notice
This notice covers this website and its “Check my TV” form. It does not cover a future phone app or paid cleanup session; those will have their own notice before you use them.
Who is responsible
Debloat Your TV is an independent early-access service. For privacy requests or questions, email hello@stoptvtracking.com.
What you give us
When you submit the form, we save your email address, your TV brand and model (or that you don’t know it), your phone type, whether you joined a waitlist, and when you submitted it. Each submission is kept as a separate request, including corrections and additional TVs. If you email us, we keep that correspondence too.
The form never asks for your phone number, streaming passwords or payment details.
Why we use it
We use your details to check whether your TV is supported and to email you about your request and its availability. We don’t use them for unrelated marketing. Giving details is optional, but without an email address we can’t follow up.
This website does not connect to your TV, collect your viewing history or use your camera. Images of TVs on the site are illustrations.
Hosting and technical information
The website runs on Cloudflare, and form submissions are stored in Cloudflare’s database. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses and device details to deliver and protect the site.
We have not added advertising trackers or marketing analytics. Videos on the site are embedded with YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode and only load from YouTube when you press play; YouTube’s own privacy policy applies from then on.
Sharing and storage
We use your records only to manage your request. Our hosting and email providers process data to run the website and our inbox, and their own privacy terms apply to their services. Providers may process information outside your country.
We do not sell your details or share them with TV manufacturers or advertisers. No online service can promise complete security.
How long we keep it
We keep requests and related emails while we’re handling your request or your early access. We delete information when it’s no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it or it’s needed to resolve an open issue.
Your choices
Email hello@stoptvtracking.com to see, correct or delete what we hold, or to stop emails about your request. We may need to confirm the request comes from you. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights and can contact your local data-protection authority.
If we change how we use submitted details, we’ll explain it before the new use begins and update the date on this page.
